Palemo Pot

Palemo Pot

Artstone planters are made from 50% natural stone, and 50% of recycled plastic, making them strong but lightweight for easy moving.

These pots have a reservoir with two functions:

  1. It stores excess water as a buffer, allowing the plant to drink when thirsty.
  2. It keeps redundant water away from the roots, preventing them from developing root rot. These pots have a plug in the bottom so the pot doesn't leak water inside.

    FAQ's

When will my order be delivered?

Our staff personally hand-deliver all products using electric vehicles from 1 to 6 PM, ensuring a more sustainable and personalised service.

    We do not use couriers.

If you need a delivery outside of these hours, please call the shop on 021 246 5466 at least 24 hours in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

    Where do you deliver?

Please see this page, which has a map showing our delivery zones and prices: Our delivery zones

What happens if nobody is home when you deliver?

Our fresh flower bouquets are carefully water-wrapped with compostable bags, keeping them hydrated for up to 24 hours.

Fresh flowers in vases are delivered with water included.

If no one is home at the time of delivery, we’ll leave the flowers in a safe, shaded spot. If we have any concerns or can't access the property, we’ll contact you or the recipient to ask for instructions. If we can't get hold of anyone we'll return the delivery to the shop and arrange a pick-up time.

What if I can't pick-up before you close?

We offer free pick-ups from our Matakana store between 10 AM and 2 PM.

If you can’t make it by 2 PM, just let us know, and we’ll leave your order with our friends at Matakana Cinema, right next door, as they are open until late.

Why are flowers from a florist expensive?

Florists source high-quality, fresh blooms from trusted suppliers, often local growers. They invest in skilled craftsmanship to create unique, bespoke arrangements, and their prices reflect the overhead costs of running a business, including shop rent, staff wages, and the expertise involved. While supermarkets and roadside stalls may offer lower prices, they typically provide standard bunches without the same care, attention to detail, or personalised service that florists offer.
