By keeping our business intentional and independent, we are able to pour absolute care into every single stem that crosses our bench. We don’t do mass-production; instead, we focus on sourcing beautiful, seasonal elements to create unique, texture-rich pieces just for you.

Behind the Bench
Our journey began with a simple mission: to spread love through the experience of flowers.
From a simple flower jar to our grandest installation, every arrangement is crafted with intention right here in our Matakana studio. We pour kindness, creativity, and care into every single design—ensuring that every person who receives a piece feels valued, included, and celebrated.
Our Signature Style
Our house style is defined by nature itself. We lean into a "Garden Rustic" aesthetic—designs that feel organic, texturally rich, and effortlessly sophisticated. Instead of rigid, overly manicured arrangements, we celebrate the natural movement of stems, the inclusion of unexpected botanical elements, and a humanist, crafted feel. It’s wild, it’s intentional, and it’s deeply connected to the New Zealand landscape.

Our studio expertise combines the exceptional standards of European floristry—backed by intensive, three-year master florist training in the Netherlands—with award-winning design perspectives shaped by years of living and working in America and Japan.
These influences bring a world-class level of artistry home to the Matakana Coast.
Sustainability
At Twig & Bloom, sustainability guides the way we work.
To honour every stem that enters our studio, we carefully air-dry unsold fresh market blooms, giving them a second life as enduring statement pieces in our Everlasting Floral Collection.
We thoughtfully minimise waste, reuse and recycle materials where possible, choose environmentally conscious packaging, and hand-deliver fresh flowers locally along the Matakana Coast in our zero-emission electric van — keeping our footprint as light as possible while bringing beauty and connection to life’s meaningful moments.
Supporting local
During the warmer months, when the fields are in full, vibrant bloom, we buy directly from our trusted local grower. This allows us to source beautiful seasonal flowers at their freshest, while minimising our footprint, reducing unnecessary travel, and supporting the growers within our local community.
